We just got back from our Egypt holiday — we got to see the great Egyptian pyramids at Giza, and the kids really loved being able to ride around in the desert on the back of a camel! It was certainly the trip of a lifetime — and it cost far less than what we thought that it would, because we joined others in a larger group, which lowered the costs for everyone. We had a nice time out there, and I don’t believe that we visited during the hottest part of the year, which certainly was nice. The kids are certainly going to have something to brag about when they talk to their friends.

We recently bought a house, and then we started to get all these offers in the mail for mortgage life insurance. We pitched them all in the trash, thinking if it was something we needed we would have been told about it by our home insurance guy or our mortgage broker, or maybe the lawyer at the signing. No one mentioned it as being important, so we decided we didn’t need it. We are both young, and we don’t even plan to stay in this house for that long. Should we have signed up for the mortgage insurance we were offered?

As if suffering from an extended illness were not traumatic enough, a family’s finances must also make a major recovery after such an event. I have been buying bottled water for years but I never really gave much thought to why I did it.
I have always assumed that bottled water was better in some way so I recently started looking into the bottled water advantages and found a few. First off is convenience. You can’t always get to a tap to get your water but you can easily carry a bottle of water with you.
The bottled water is always clean and filtered and you can’t be sure the water coming through your water pipes is as clean. Finally there is the problem with chemicals.
