When I was a kid I always dreamed of the day when I would turn sixteen and be allowed to drive. I was in for a rude awakening, however, because once my parents learned how much their insurance rates would increase if I started to drive on their policy, they were like NO WAY! It took me a while to convince them to add me, and I had to get a job and pay the difference in the premiums. I wish there had been the availability to check rates for the cheapest auto insurance so that I could have been confident that I wasn’t being ripped off.
