The study of people types suitable for products and service offered for sale is refereed to as demographics. In advertising recruitment of customers involves knowing or finding the a means of attracting certain kinds of people that will want to pay money for products or services offered for sale. Not only do advertising executives need to know what kind of people will buy what is being offered for sale they also need to know where these people can be found so that they can target their advertising campaigns only in areas where the proper type of potential customer will see them.
