Benefits to Remember

When purchasing a new vehicle you want to consider how long you will be keeping the car and would it be profitable to purchase the new car extended warranty.  Most new cars come with the original warranty that will cover the car for 36,000 miles or 3 years which ever comes first.  You will need to be aware that after the original warranty has run out all expenses will come out of your pocket.  Remember repairs and labor are expensive and can cost as much if not more than the policy you could have purchased.  Consider that some policies cover towing, key lockout and car rental as well.

Auto For Sale

When you’re looking to replace your car, seeing an ‘auto for sale’ sign means you just have to take a look – it might just be the car you’ve dreamt of. If the description of the car appeals to you get in contact with the seller and ask some questions before wasting a journey for a viewing. This applies to both new and used cars. New cars from dealerships have a bit more protection for the buyer than purchasing a used car from an individual. Even if you are just ‘window shopping’ it’s still good to familiarize yourself with the type of spiel you can expect when you finally decide that you do want to buy that auto for sale that’s gleaming in the showroom.

I told her to find car insurance online

My oldest daughter, who is home schooled, came to me the other day to ask about taking driver education this summer. It was not something I was looking forwards to,  but she wanted to take it none the less. I told her to go on her computer and find car insurance online that was at least 15 to 20 percent lower than what I was paying now, because that is how much it is going to jump if I added her to the policy when she gets her license, then let me know what she finds. She spent the entire afternoon looking online and reading about the many policies they offered.

Does your mobility vehicle come with a buttonless shifter

Because some mobility vehicles don’t come with a buttonless shifter, it can be painful for some disabled people to shift  up, you need to make sure that the car comes equipped with a but unless shifter.  If the gear shifter is mounted on the steering column, then it will not have any button on it anyway.  Otherwise, check out the shifter to make sure that you do not have to use press a button in order to shift the gear from ‘Park’ to ‘drive’. In more modern vehicles, some of the manufacturer’s actually built it in the leg tonic shifters that are buttonless as well is moving between the gears very easily.

Looking Into a 50cc Scooter?

Those little 50cc scooters may not have a huge engine with a lot of power, but they have a lot more power than they used to have when 50cc scooters were made even 10 years ago.  The technology has gotten better so not only can you get a lot more power out of a 50cc scooter or moped but you also get an engine that is much quieter.  With more people buying scooters online to save money on the gas bill, these little rides are getting a lot of second glances.  And if it is a 49cc engine you don’t have to get a special license or insurance or anything so these are getting a lot of purchases too.  Cheap electric scooters can save you even more money because they don’t use gasoline at all.

Things to Do for Getting Ideal Gas Mileage

You need to follow certain rules and tips so that you get the best SUV gas mileage. When it is very windy, the SUV would experience lots of air drag which would further reduce the gas mileage; so it is essential to remember not to drive the SUV while it is windy. Apart from this, you need to stick to the speed limit which will allow you to get the best SUV gas mileage. Also, keep an eye on the maximum amount of load that the SUV is able to handle. Loading more than the limit makes the vehicle consume fuel at an alarming rate and the mpg goes drastically low.

2 Simple Ways to Reduce Pollution

1. Use Earth 4 Energy to reduce your reliance on normal energy - using both the wind and the sun, you can run your house on renewable energy, and reduce your carbon emissions. What’s more you can take this anywhere with you.

2. Convert your car - no don’t upgrade, but upgrade it into a green vehicle using a manual like Water 4 Gas.  This simple blueprint will show you how to make your own HHO generator, which then uses water and your car battery to generate a more fuel efficient car, and more importantly, reduce your carbon foot print.

Chinatown Wars

The good news in the video games world this week is that the Nintendo DSi consoles release of GTA DS will include all the material the designers intend it to because it is not facing any cuts at all. It is being given an 18 certificate which I believe is the first for a DS game. All the blood and violence against ladies of the night will take place and out can play it on the bus home from school or work or even while you’re driving home if you want to kill someone. Chinatown Wars is not going to be lacking in anything so you must buy it as soon as you can.

You need to check for the cheapest car insurance when you add a teen driver to your policy.

When I was a kid I always dreamed of the day when I would turn sixteen and be allowed to drive. I was in for a rude awakening, however, because once my parents learned how much their insurance rates would increase if I started to drive on their policy, they were like NO WAY! It took me a while to convince them to add me, and I had to get a job and pay the difference in the premiums. I wish there had been the availability to check rates for the cheapest auto insurance so that I could have been confident that I wasn’t being ripped off.

Buy Used Auto Parts and Save!

I myself have for the most part found myself getting my cars fixed when they break down. Usually this is considerably less expensive than buying another. But fixing them is not always cheap, it can get costly, depending upon the nature of the repair and the mechanic doing the work. There are two components to most car repairs. There is the labor and there is the part. These two components will determine the cost of our auto repair. Now there is not a lot that we can do about the labor, that depends upon the repair that is needed and the one that is doing the repair on the car. But there is something that we can do about the part. We can buy used auto parts and save a bunch of cash.
