Door Closer in Nicole’s Movie
It is good to note that Nicole Kidman has since bounced back from her past relationship turmoil with Tom Cruise. For me, one of the most prolific actresses in Hollywood is Nicole Kidman. The even great thing about this Aussie-born actress is that she chooses her roles well for quality movies. It is a funny fact even that Nicole won more acting awards than her former husband. And to think, Tom started it in showbiz much earlier than Nicole.The greatness of Nicole, acting-wise, was showcased well in her performance in “The Others”. It’s actually a Spanish-produced film (although no Spanish word was ever spoken) about the agony of a mother with two children suffering from a rare disease of hypersensitivity to light. She has to shut the door closer every morning because her children can’t really survive seeing the light. This creates social stigma to her family as the routine almost always involves just staying at home.
