Wine is an amazing thing

On my wine tasting day at the Mount Barker Vineyard in Adelaide Hills not only did I taste some fine wines like Australian Viognier and Shiraz but I also learnt an awful lot about how much is involved in producing wine itself. With so much to consider in relation to the vineyards such as location, temperature, altitude, rainfall and many other aspects, it just amazed me at how much had to be considered and that was before you even started to produce the wine itself. So the next time you are drinking a nice bottle of wine over dinner you really should read the back of the bottle just so you can get a little appreciation of where the wine was produced.
