The Potter's House, St. Kitts Studio and gallery has been producing Pottery Creations by Carla Astaphan for over 25 years. Said to be the most famous Potter on the island, her work have been gifted to visiting notable persons.

A home based pottery studio located in the backyard of the resident potter. A beautiful space where persons can come to learn and produce their own pottery pieces.

Additionally, it’s our mission to ensure that the arts remain strong, and to offer classes to students of all levels - introducing newcomers to art and creativity, and refining the techniques of even the most veteran artists.

The Potter's House, St. Kitts studio and gallery was born out Carla's entrepreneurial spirit. She recognized that this was a niche area in the craft, gift and souvenir industry in St. Kitts. She worked hard to learn the skill and has continually pushed herself to learn more. Carla has successully created a name for herself as the best known potter in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Make your own pottery/Glaze your own pottery
Your New Masterpiece
Get your hands dirty with a fun and interactive Independent pottery class today. All students feel extremely accomplished after leaving. Class sizes are kept small in order to ensure each participant gets enough attention from the instructor. In the "Make your own pottery" class you will learn a handbuilding technique, followed by instruction and use of the potter's wheel. The Potter's House provides clay and tools for this session. Interact with other artists while creating in this peaceful and therapeutic environment.
The second class will be a Glaze class to "Glaze your own pottery"
