Service Description
Our teen pottery workshop this summer, July 10-14, and 17-21, 2023 will provide a basic introduction to the potters' wheel and to handbuildingntechniques. We offer instruction on wheel throwing steps, hand building techniques, surface treatments, and glazing techniques.  We welcome students of all levels of ability and encourage free expression in both functional and non-functional ware. Perfect for students wanting to pursuing art at high school. Register for 1 week or 2 weeks Please bring apron or old oversized t-shirt. The teen class tuition fee covers everything--class instruction, red earthenware clay, glazes, tools and bisque and final firing of work produced during the session to cone 04 and 05. Bring your own snacks and drink.
